The Condemnation of Mankind
"It has come to my attention; has come to my sorrowful realization; that mankind is lost. There is no light at the end of the worldly man's tunnel; no source of comfort or warm and beautiful paradise; just a dark, lonely, and never-ending place of sorrow and gnashing of teeth. Modern man has given up. Over the last twenty centuries he has climbed continually the mountain of aspiration; climbing higher and higher towards the heavens. What has happened to his aspiration for the glory of God? He has forgotten the Truth; he has given up trying. We are seeing the end of something that might have been great. We are seeing the decline of civilization. We are voting for the condemnation of man." - Address on the 5th of May, 1886. Theodore Brag Haight.
